Purpose/Mission/Vision

For the last fifty years, AIESEC U.S. has been without an active alumni association. Alumni have had only informal and local platforms to interact with one another after graduating from university. AIESEC Local and National Committee efforts to coordinate alumni activities have not been sustained. Yet, alumni enthusiasm and dedication to AIESEC remains high.

AIESEC Life offers a new solution. In the last year, alumni from different generations of AIESEC have come together to create a sustainable organization focused on both providing alumni with the services they want and supporting the growth of AIESEC. AIESEC Life has been the most successful alumni effort to date! We invite you to join the online AIESEC alumni community to stay connected and to support AIESEC.

Purpose: to support and promote the charitable and educational activities of AIESEC US, Inc. by cultivating relationships between and among AIESEC US and its growing community of alumni and by raising funds to provide scholarships to students.

Mission: to provide valuable services that enable AIESEC alumni to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other and to support AIESEC’s growth.

Vision: By 2012, AIESEC Life will connect more than 10,000 alumni with each other on its online platform. Alumni will leverage this network for career placement, entrepreneurship, mentorship, professional development and social networking as a part of their daily lives. The organization will coordinate and facilitate regular local and national events to support alumni interests and manage funds through which alumni can give back to AIESEC U.S. Local members of AIESEC will instantly join AIESEC Life after they graduate from university – using the alumni organization to continue pursuing AIESEC’s mission of building cultural understanding and international cooperation as they move on to the next steps of their lives.
