Thanks to the amazing dedication, hard work and enthusiasm of our hub leaders, alumni and supporters nationwide, AIESEC Life held another successful Fall Membership Drive! We asked if you remembered where you came from.. and our alumni responded with a resounding YES!

We set apart a few weeks each year where we ask alumni to show their support for AIESEC Life and pay their annual membership fee.  Our hub leaders work diligently to hold events that showcase the good work that AIESEC Life does nationwide and the great things that happen when you leverage the power of the alumni community.

We're pleased to say that while our goal was 225 paid memberships activated or renewed during the campaign (Sept 25-Nov 15), we brought in 274! Thank you to everyone who showed their support by paying their membership fees, sponsoring our students' membership fees or by attending a local hub event.  Your attendance at local hub events encourages and motivates our hub leaders to keep up their good work locally!

Events were held around the nation by our hubs and alumni gathered, networked, heard updates from the students and found out how they can give back.  Our Bay Area Hub, led by alumna Edith Gong, took the top spot as our #1 membership generator in the nation. bringing in 78 membership during the course of the campaign. Click here to see photos from their fall event hosted at the home of alumna Renee Courington.  Our hubs in Chicago, Seattle, NYC and Denver definitely put forth a great effort and had great results from their respective campaigns.  One compelling reason our hub leaders work so hard during the campaign?  Fifty percent of all membership fees collected during the course of the campaign are allocated to each hub's fund. Those funds help cover the very real cost of hosting events, such as reserving rooms, paying for name tags, buying an initial round of appetizers, etc.  What does the other fifty percent cover?  AIESEC Life operation expenses, which includes things like web hosting, insurance, and the cost of part time administrative help.

Top Five Hubs for Membership Sign Ups

Bay Area (78)
Chicago (41)
Seattle (31)
NYC (26)
Denver (19)

Please join us in congratulating Edith Gong and all of our hub leaders (see a complete list here)  on this year's successful membership drive!  We applaud you for your great work!

Happy holidays to all,
